Placeholder. This page is a plain-English summary written by the Belo team. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and it is not the final privacy notice. Do not treat it as a legal document.
How your details are handled
When you send an enquiry through a form like this, your details go to the trade business you contacted. They are the ones who decide what happens to your information. Belo provides the software they use to run their admin.
What is collected
Your name, the phone number or email address you give, what you need doing, any details you add, and the address of the job.
What it is used for
Replying to you about the work you asked about. You will not be added to a marketing list, and nothing is sold or shared with anyone else.
Asking for it to be removed
Contact the business you enquired with and ask them to erase your details. If you cannot reach them, contact Belo and we will help.
The final version of this notice, covering the United Kingdom and Australia, is being prepared with legal advice.
If you join the early access list
This part is different from the rest of this page. When you send an enquiry to a trade business, that business decides what happens to your details. When you ask for early access to Belo, Belo decides. We are responsible for those details, not a trade business.
What we collect
Your name, your email address, your trade, and whether you work in the United Kingdom or Australia. Nothing else. We do not record your IP address and there is no tracking on this site.
What we use it for
Contacting you about early access to Belo, and nothing else. We will not sell it, share it with anyone else, or add you to a general marketing list. If you ask us twice we update what we already hold rather than keeping two copies.
Getting off the list
Ask us and we will remove you. Until Belo has a published contact address, ask through whoever gave you the link.
Not settled yet
Three things are undecided, and we would rather say so than write something that reads well and is not true:
- How long we keep an early access sign-up if nothing comes of it.
- The lawful basis we rely on for holding it, under UK GDPR and the Australian Privacy Act.
- A published address to write to if you want to be removed. Asking is your right, and it has to be somewhere you can find without knowing anyone here.
All three need settling, and this section has to be reviewed before the early access form is used with real people outside testing.
